Alex was born in Southern Vietnam towards the end of war. His family fled to Malaysia and was then sponsored to come to America. Son of two hard working parents in a strange land and not knowing the language, he witnessed the determination and the opportunity given to him by his parents to be independent and self-reliant.
Alex is a proud father of 3. He enjoys spending time with his family and loves being active. He enjoys outdoor activities and loves being involved in the community. Alex has a background in management. Information Technology certifications. Computer Science from CPCC. Alex is a Financial Professional by trade. Alex has helped over 500 seniors with COVID-19 Vaccination. He has helped distribute over 15,000 KN95 mask to the AAPI community. He also helped with over 15 pallets of food to the community through the USDA “Farm to Table” program. He also on the board of Mecklenburg County CBIAC sub-committee.
He currently serves on the board of directors for Carolina Asian American Chamber of Commerce. Advisory Council for Beyond Open Clt under Foundation For The Carolinas. Participating member of LDI #21 from CBI. Working to promote diversity and inclusion.
